Clarence H. Irvin, 76, carpenter, mason
Clarence H. Irvin, 76, of 521 E. 28th Division Highway, Lititz, died Tuesday mornings at Ephrata Community Hospital after a brief illness.
He woirked for Esbenshade's Greenhouses Inc. of Lititz.
Earlier, he was a carpenter and stonemason with his brother, Paul Irvin.
He belonged to Brickerville Unithed Lutheran Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Ephrata.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Irvin served in Italy, France, the Rhineland and central Europe.
Born in Brunnerville, he was the son of the late Morris L. and Nora Hilton Irvin.
He and his wife, Gladys M. Seiverling Irvin, wre married 50 years last May.
Surviving besides his wife are three sisters, Evelyn F. Neideigh of Lititz and Kathryn I., wife of James Shreiner, and Lois I., wife of Isaac Bomberger, both of Penryn.
